Albertson, NY – November 16, 2016 – Philip L. Blum, Vice President and Senior Counsel at CA Technologies, was appointed to the Henry Viscardi School at The Viscardi Center Board of Trustees. Henry Viscardi School educates children with severe physical disabilities who often require life-sustaining medical treatment throughout the day and may otherwise need to receive instruction in their homes or a hospital setting.

A graduate from the Hofstra University School of Law, Blum is an in-house attorney for CA Technologies, the largest, independent software provider based in New York, New York. In his current role at CA’s Islandia location, Blum focuses on, among other things, litigation and risk management. Prior to joining CA in 2014, he was a Litigation Partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP. Blum also served in the United States Army Reserve as an intelligence analyst for the 11th and 19th Special Forces Groups, among other units.
