Dear HVS Community,
The holidays give us an opportunity to pause our busy lives and reflect on our proud accomplishments. The season offers us once again a chance to say “thank you” to the entire school community for all of the support that you provide to our students, our families, and our staff.
Our school community has worked selflessly to make a positive difference for families in need, and I would be remiss if I did not commend our students and staff for the joy they have brought to those who need the most help. From the Island Harvest food drive, as well as other wonderful programs, the impact that you have made in the lives of so many during the holiday season has been truly special. I am so very proud of each and every one of you!
I have witnessed our HVS family come together as a true community to celebrate and support each other, never losing sight of our purpose and our mission… the children. While the New Year will continue to bring challenges with the State and our funding… as well as opportunities, I know that we will be even stronger. We will continue to support each other. We will continue to celebrate each other and take pride in the accomplishments of all our students.
I hope you all have a joyous and special holiday season with plenty of time to relax and enjoy family and friendships. May you all have a New Year filled with health and happiness. Safe travels and warm wishes to each and every one of you!
